＊What do you use to draw?
I use Clip Studio Paint EX for almost everything. Prior to that I used FireAlpaca and Medibang Paint (I would recommend those to beginner artists). For editing I use photopea and dither.it. For the monthly blog covers I edit in text using Adobe Illustrator. My tablet is a Huion Inspiroy 950P (it’s affordable and works just as good as Wacom, more resilient too). I use Aseprite sometimes when I want to do pixel art.

I have a few art tutorials if you would like to copy or find out how I do things.

My sketches are all done in cheap sketchbooks with sarasa gel pens/pentel energels.

＊What are your brushes?
Lineart: Bijobiyo Letter Brush is my main brush. Knucklehead is my secondary brush.

Coloring: Paint bucket tool. If I want textures, I use ayamtepung.

＊Is it okay to use your art as icons/banners/etc?
Feel free to! I would very much appreciate it if you credited me as “amfmradio.org” or “@amfmrdo”, but I’m not a hardass about it. I used to be against reposts of my art but I’ve stopped caring/changed my mind.

Just don’t edit my art with harmful/malicious intent.. :(

＊Do you make your own stickers?
I draw and design everything myself, but production is handled by Stickerbunnies. I have a tutorial on preparing drawings for sticker printing if you are interested.

＊Why did you make this site?
I think that indie websites are one of the coolest things to come out of the internet and I think it really goes to show that even during the age of social media and the convenience (braindeadness) of vibe-coding/generative AI, there are still people out there who meticulously hand-code personal websites for hours and hours just for the love of the game. I’m one of them.

I think indie websites are one of the coolest forms of art/self-expression and I'm really happy I get to be a part of it. Connecting with other webmasters and artists from all over the world is what living is all about for me... I hope this jargon inspires you to make your own website!

＊Is making a website hard? How did you learn how to code?
Coding your own website is easier than you think! Mine is 99% just HTML and CSS, and I learned everything in my spare time.
